One of the most important aspects of receiving respite care is having someone accessible when a break is needed and necessary. Through our Provider Registry, Dodge County Lifespan Respite has been able to build a list of individuals and businesses who are ready, willing and able to give the kind of care that you expect from trained providers. Within our Provider Registry, you will find contact names and phone numbers, plus a bit of information that may help you better determine if the trained provider meets your criteria of service in your household. DCLRN encourages you to conduct a phone interview, a personal interview or whatever else you need to do to get to know the provider before he or she enters your home and cares for your loved one with the same kind of love and concern that primary caregivers offer their loved ones. You may call these individuals or businesses directly. Cost per hour or day for care is negotiated between the family and the trained provider, depending on level of care, length or time frame of care, and circumstances.
